So, earlier this month my mother and I decided we wanted to run a different type of race. We both had been looking at The Color Run in Atlanta but never said anything to each other. When we had finally decided to mention the run, the first Atlanta run was already full on March 31at Piedmont Park. Ours on April 7, was held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, GA. At the 1k mark, we were hit with a cloud of yellow cornstarch. Then we were hit with green, pink, blue, and purple. The finish line was a cloud of many colors. In our race packets were extra packets of color. I could not open the plastic bag, so i squeezed it and all of the turquoise cornstarch went flying all over my mom, mainly her face. Oops! She covered me in pink magenta powder as a payback!
